Stanford University is one of the world's leading research and teaching institutions. It is located in Stanford, California.
Soil and Environmental biogeochemistry Program at Stanford University focuses on the transport of
trace elements through soils. Understanding the movement of inorganic contaminants through
soils is a fundamental part of understanding, and subsequently mitigating, the impact of
contaminants on plants and animals. We study the chemistry of the interactions of
inorganic contaminants with water and mineral surfaces using sophisticated spetroscopic
techniques in idealized systems, and with experiements in real soils systems
