As it name suggests, it's a private school and it's not funded by the government. Students will have to pay for a fee in order to study in private school, obviously. Independent schools in Malaysia, mostly compromises of Chinese independent schools, are administrated by a board called United Chinese School Committees Association of Malaysia.
