The Croatian Mine Action Centre (CROMAC) is the founder of the Centre for Testing, Development and Training, Croatia without Mines-Trust Fund for Humanitarian Demining of Croatia and co-founder of the Cluster for Humanitarian Demining Operations Abroad. The Cluster consists of highly-specialized Croatian companies for the manufacture of demining machines and equipment. CROMAC is also the co-founder of the South Eastern Europe Mine Action Coordination Council (SEEMACC).
The Cambodian Mine Action Centre (CMAC) is Cambodia’s leading demining organization, working in the key areas of Survey and Land Release, Mine and UXO Clearance, Mine and UXO Risk Education and Training, Research and Development. CMAC currently has 1,715 staff across Cambodia, including a national office in Phnom Penh, six provincial demining units and a Training Centre in Kampong Chhnang, working towards the mission of "Saving lives and Supporting Development for Cambodia".
On Thursday, 22 October, 2015, in the premises of Osijek-Baranja County in Osijek, a meeting of the main partners in the project CBC HU-HR (Co-operation Programme Interreg VA Hungary-Croatia 2014-2020), Croatian Mine Action Centre and the Police border.
Donation of 18 GPS devices for the purposes of Bosnia and Herzegovina Mine Action Center activities 18 GPS devices donated by the Government and the Embassy of the United States, through International Fund for the enhancement of human safety-ITF, were handed over to Bosnia and Herzegovina Mine Action Centre, at the official ceremony held at BHMAC premises in Sarajevo toady. The value of donation in the amount of 81 530 USD will significantly improve BHMAC daily activities of survey operations and creation of mine action projects, as well as the monitoring and control of the tasks, performed by the accredited demining organizations.
The Myanmar Mine Action Centre, to be established under the Myanmar Peace Centre, is the main focal point at national level for initiatives concerning mine action. Despite a high level of interest and support, survey and clearance activities have been delayed due to various factors including lack of an approved landmine law and restrictions on access to mined areas by different armed groups.
