Day 5: Blomsterbugten & Renbugten Blomsterbugten, “the bay of flowers”, in the Kejser Franz Joseph Fjord is home to beautiful purple and gold coloured rocks that we admire in the distance or explore on a hike for those who wish. In the afternoon we continue to Renbugten, called “Reindeer Bay” for the herd of 12 reindeer seen on one of the first expeditions to the area. Arctic hare is also a common and delightful sight in this area.
