Welcome to the
International Air Cadet Exchange Association Website. The purpose of our Association is to plan and run an annual, world-wide exchange for aviation-minded young people each July. Our members are drawn from 20 countries and include the Ghana National Cadet Corps, the Hong Kong Air Cadet Corps, the Turkish Aeronautical Association and the UK Air Cadet Organisation. Each year we give over 500 young people the opportunity to expand their horizons, experience different cultures and make life-long friendships.
International Air Cadet Exchange is an annual student exchange program designed to promote character, good-will, and cooperation among the world's civilian auxiliary aviation programs. Participants come from organizations such as the Air Training Corps, Girls Venture Corps Air Cadets, Australian Air Force Cadets, United States Civil Air Patrol, German Society for Aeronautics and Astronautics, Royal Canadian Air Cadets, Turkish Aeronautical Association, Hong Kong Air Cadet Corps, Singapore National Cadet Corps, along with fifteen other equivalent groups in other nations.
Each summer, hundreds of cadets from eighteen nations come together to broaden their understanding of aviation and foreign cultures through the
International Air Cadet Exchange (IACE). Civil Air Patrol has been the United States representative to the Exchange for more than 60 years. CAP cadets selected for the Exchange have a reputation as being the best of the best; possessing great integrity and leadership ability; a keen interest in aviation and foreign culture; and the desire to share their experiences with their fellow cadets, family, and community. International Air Cadet Exchange The International Air Cadet Exchange (IACE) links the Air Cadets with the world. For 15 days every July and August we exchange students so each gets a taste of the other's culture and another great cadet experience. Places are limited, and if you're aged between 17 and 19 you'll need to apply as soon as the scheme allows to be in with a chance - you can find out more from your instructors.
